Below are our standard terms and conditions. Please read them
carefully before purchasing products or using data on this website.
By accessing and using the website, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions.

While every effort is made to publish correct data and errors are rare,
OceanFun Publishing Ltd will not accept liability for damages or costs incurred
as a result of using the published data. Although our data comes from the same source, we do not publish
official tide figures - for authoritative tide information
please consult the official tide tables in the New Zealand Nautical Almanac.
Tide information is supplied to us by Land Information New Zealand (LINZ), a crown entity.
Important note: LINZ constantly evaluates the tidal constitiuents and harmonics from which
the tides are predicted, and supplies us with updated tide data.
These revisions may result in small changes in published figures -
generally only a few minutes in the tide times, or a few centimetres of height.
Differences of this magnitude are inconsequential to any practical use of our tide tables and graphics, but they may result in
occasional numeric differences between our products, and also between our products and figures obtained from other sources.
However, the magnitude of some revisions
will be significant, and such revisions will always be incorporated in future products, as soon as they come to hand.
In any case, you will always see the best figures that were available
at the time of printing; later revisions by LINZ are outside our control.
All information, graphic images, and designs contained on this site or in printed
form in our products are protected by copyright law in New Zealand and in most other countries.
No part of this website or printed material may be reproduced, copied, reprinted, re-typed, broadcast,
or stored in any retrieval system, without the express permission of OceanFun Publishing ltd.
If you are unsure how this may apply to your activities, please ask - we are open to reasonable non-profit use.
The small New Zealand maps on the TideFlash page were obtained from the TUMONZ program as permitted by the copyright notice
of that product. Furthermore, we can reccomend TUMONZ as a worthwhile product to have . See more on their

All prices on this website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and
include Goods and Services Tax (GST).
All charges will be billed to the customer in New Zealand dollars. Additional charges
may be levied by your payments provider (eg, your credit card company).
Orders to locations within New Zealand are delivered using NZ
Post, Standard Letter Rate.
Parcels too large or heavy
for this rate will be charged at the applicable PacketPost rate
currently in force at NZ Post.
For international orders,
we will contact you by email regarding shipping. We will ship your order within
three full working days from the time you place it.
Goods and services tax (GST)
For orders delivered to addresses within New Zealand, prices include
Good and Services Tax (GST) of 15%.
We will deduct GST before charging your credit card, for orders
delivered to addresses outside of New Zealand.
Import, customs duties, and taxes
International shipping and handling costs that are charged to
your credit card do not include applicable import duties or taxes
that are due upon entry into the destination country. If the destination
country imposes import duties and/or taxes, the customer is responsible
for their payment.
We will only accept returns if:

The return package is postmarked within
14 days of receipt of order, and

The product(s) are in original condition.
or

The return package is postmarked within
14 days of receipt of order, and

The product as you received it has a manufacturing
fault.
Before making a return, you must email us at
our Online shop,
stating:
- Your name
- E-mail address
- Description (product code) of product being returned.
- Reason for returning the product.
Provided the reason for return meets these terms, we will provide
you with a Return Authorisation Number.
You will be responsible for return shipping costs.
If the reason for returning the product(s) is because of
manufacturing faults, we will either replace the product or fully
refund the purchase price.
For all other returns, we will refund the full purchase price
less the shipping, handling and packaging cost.
You may cancel an order at any time
prior to us sending
you the email confirming shipment of your order.
To cancel an order, simply email our

- Your Name
- E-mail address.
We will acknowledge all cancellations via e-mail.
The information you provide to us in the course of ordering products
will never, to the best of our abilities, be given, sold or otherwise revealed to
any third party.
Credit card numbers are held in an encrypted form and
deleted as soon as payment is confirmed. Personal information is kept in a secure database
and will not be divulged under any circumstances except to authorities
legally entitled to that information through the application of
relevant New Zealand law.
For purchases through the website, we process your credit card details securely over the
internet using industry standard SSL encryption. With a secure browser at your end, we endeavour
to take all measures to ensure that your credit card and anonymity are protected when you purchase
from us online.
While you are browsing the OceanFun site and
using our services we collect some information. You may
enter an email address, which will only be use for the purpose
for which you authorised at the time of entry. We may store
cookies on your computer, with the express purpose of improving
our service to you. No personal information is contained
in these cookies. We may record your IP address for audit
and statistical purposes only. .
In the event that any part of these terms and conditions will
be determined to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable for any
reason, then such terms and conditions will be severed from the
remaining terms and conditions, which will continue to be valid
and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed
in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
